Returns & Exchanges

You have 30 days from the day your item arrives to start a return or exchange. Just head here - answer a few questions, and if your items qualify, the system generates a return label on the spot. That label is good for 28 days, so send your package back within that window or the return will be canceled. To be accepted, items need to come back unworn and in their original packaging. One important exception for hygiene reasons: once the package on socks or underwear has been opened, we can't take those back. If opened socks or underwear come back to us, they won't be accepted - and unfortunately, items we can't accept aren't returned to you, so please double-check before sending. Who pays for return shipping? The cost of the return label comes out of your refund - unless the item arrived damaged or defective, or you added "Free Returns & Package Protection" at checkout. In those cases, returns are on us. The original order's shipping charge isn't refundable either way. Exchanges work the same way: submit through the returns portal. We send the new item once your original return is received and processed. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return - we'll email you either way to confirm it was approved. Your bank may take a little longer to post it. If it's been more than 15 business days since your approval and you still don't see it, email us at hello@wearmaro.com. Got a damaged, defective, or wrong item? Email us right away at hello@wearmaro.com and we'll make it right. A couple of things you can't return: final sale items and gift cards. Lost packages: once the carrier marks an order Delivered, we consider it delivered and can't refund it. If it's missing, check with neighbors, building staff, or your local post office first - we may offer a one-time replacement at our discretion. International returns: if you're outside the US, email hello@wearmaro.com to start a return — international customers arrange their own return shipping, and returns sent without our approval may be rejected. Shipping into the EU? You also have a 14-day right to cancel for any reason, no justification needed (same condition rules apply). Just email us. Returns go to a third party warehouse in Utah.
